Joe Cullen

Newly retired hockey player and Moorhead, MN native, Joe Cullen, spent 11 years playing professionally all over the world.

He began by representing the United States on the Under-18 USA National Team in Ann Arbor, Michigan and went on to play for Colorado College where he won the WCHA's best defensive player as a forward in 2003.

As an Edmonton Oilers draft pick, Joe represented the Oilers on their AHL teams from 2003-2005. He continued on to play in the AHL, ECHL, the German Bundesliga, the Italian A League and the Elite Ice Hockey League of the UK during his 11 professional years.

Joe has been actively involved in the Cullen Children's Foundation, started by his brother Matt Cullen and his wife Bridget. The 'Cully's Kids' he has come to know through the years have  added so much joy to his life and he's honored to be a part of theirs.

Joe feels very blessed to be an ASHA Ambassador and looks forward to joining his brothers in representing ASHA together.
